HighRise is a PowerTool for describing the vertical design of your building, and obtaining the vertical measurements you need to make your design work. It is designed to plan the elevation of a building, not to render the finished model. It can optionally adjust walls, floors, ceilings and roofs to match the design, so they all fit perfectly. It allows you to plan and edit up to six floors of plans in a single file, with full 3D visibility.
Deck Wizard constructs a custom deck built to your specifications. Choose a style, dimensions and deck features such as stairs and balusters and Deck Wizard automatically builds your deck. You can edit the deck throughout the design process, or after the wizard exports the deck into your design.
3D Custom Workshop Pro is a PowerTool which provides the ability to design your own objects or even import from software such as AutoCAD, ViaCAD, Shark, and Google Sketchup.
PlansPlus is a Punch! multi-PowerTool. It forms the basis of a series of PowerTools with add-on features (called MicroTools) which can interact synergistically to provide great enhancement to Punch! plans. By itself, PlansPlus provides for enhanced printing and export capabilities for Punch! plans; in combination with MicroTools it can create drawing dimensions in a multitude of measurement formats; draw trees with graphics on the plan that make individual plants types recognizable at a glance, or even both effects together. Other MicroTools are planned.
BreakAll II is an enhanced version of the original BreakAll PowerTool. The original tool allowed the user to add a break (a new handle) into any of the Punch! objects listed below. The new version allows any number (up to ten) of handles to be added to any edge of an existing object. In addition, BreakAll II will remove a handle from an object.
The Exterior Decorator is a PowerTool for creating some of the recurrent trim themes in building exteriors, which may also find ample use indoors. Build columns, arches and other trim features to your specifications without need to use the 3D Workshop.
VRMLEX exports a VRML rendering of your Punch! design, with terrain, textures and plants included. It can be viewed by any browser with a free VRML plugin installed.
Animator creates an .avi video walk or fly through of your home design to show family, friends, clients--even your builder!
Simply define the path of walk or fly through of your home design. Animator give you complete control of your "production" with options such as speed, view angle, lighting, transitions and more. Full preview mode lets you review and refine your video prior to export as an .avi file.
PhotoView Editor lets you edit real-world photos of your home on the fly and then import them automatically back into your drawing. Powerful yet easy to use tools let you paint over existing siding, brick, shingles, doors and more. All of the textures and shadows in your photograph are retained, giving your "virtual makeover" a realistic look. Replicate Tool lets you copy an existing real-world window, door or other component and add it to your photograph. PhotoView Editor is the perfect tool for remodeling or visualizing new construction.
Fireplace Wizard constructs a custom fireplace based on your dimensions, material and style details. Hearth, mantel, firebox and chimney options give you complete design control. When you are satisfied with the result, your custom fireplace is automatically imported into your design. You can easily edit or modify your fireplace. Use in tandem with Cutaway Slider to view how fireplace chimney affects your design from floor to roof.
Every building project requires either foundation walls and footings or cantilevered retaining walls. The ability to quickly and easily design them is a must given the time constraints and shrinking budgets in today’s building market.
Daystar FootingMaster for Punch! performs a complete analysis and design of all concrete cantilevered and restrained foundation walls located on the Foundation plan of your Punch! drawing.
Site Planner automatically generates the lot boundaries for your property and exports them into your design. Simply enter the coordinates from your survey in-field measurements or legal description. Site Planner generates the boundaries as you enter the coordinates then exports them into your drawing. Professional toolset allows easy coordinate editing.
